Reflect on the past week

Take some time to analyze the past week and answer these questions in your journal or notebook. Make sure you keep these to see how you and your team have grown!

  • Did you share your thoughts, emtions, values or beliefs this week? How were they received?
  • How did you feel by opening yourself up to the team this way?
  • What did you learn?

Prepare for next week

Take some time to visualize how to implement the following questions. Write down your thoughts & ideas to narrow down specific actions. Intentionally choose when and how to implement these behaviors during the following week.

Create a Positive Climate

  • What behavior am I letting slide and when am I going to do something about it?

Develop Cohesion

  • Have a discussion about disrespect. Have your team members identify 1-3 behaviors that they've witnessed that they find disrespectful.

Provide Purpose

  • Who has drawn away from the team? What support do they need?

Learn & Grow

After you get your team's perspective on disrespectful behaviors, end on a positive note by letting this article guide you in a discussion about the value of respect in the workplace.
